If we work together I will listen carefully to understand your symptoms and situation. I will help to identify patterns and conditions that may be keeping you ill or stuck. I will provide education and guidance for improving your mental and physical health, as these are intimately related.
I respect and support your autonomy. I will meet you where you are and we will collaborate around what you are willing and able to do. I may suggest consultation with a specialist for help with things I am not expert in.
Daily recovery is so overlooked, and so crucial for wellness. I practice what I preach, prioritizing self-care, attending to my own sleep, nutrition and exercise. This means I am generally not available outside of scheduled appointments, after-hours or on weekends. I don’t carry a pager so if you have a health threatening crisis you may need to call 9-1-1 or go to your local emergency room.
